Description
Twin fins are about speed and long arcs rather than tight turns. The OE1 is large and relatively stiff for exactly that reason: two fins have to hold a board that normally runs three, and they can't do it without area.
It isn't fully rigid, though — the maker left flex in the tip so it releases at the end of the arc. A completely stiff twin goes fast and won't turn; this one accelerates and still lets you whip the tail.
Single tab, so these fit Futures boxes. If you run FCS, you need the dual-tab version.
Who it isn't for. Pointless in a thruster — the foil assumes two fins, not two sides plus a centre. Beginners shouldn't run a twin at all: a two-fin board releases more readily and demands precise footwork. And they won't fit FCS boxes.
