Description
Hypa is Ocean & Earth's mid-tier line, marked XP for extra protection on nose, tail and rails. A board almost never takes a hit in the middle of the deck — it takes them on the edges, and the edges are what's reinforced here.
The day version for one shortboard — the daily run to the water and back. The foam absorbs knocks while the bag stays a bag: you throw it in the car and stop thinking about it.
The tail gusset expands and secures shut. The board travels with fins when that's easier and without them when the cover needs to lie flat — an ordinary cover makes you pick one and live with it.
Who it isn't for. Flying needs the travel version with 20 mm edges. A second board won't fit. And take the length cut for your board: midlength, shortboard and longboard covers differ by geometry, not by catalogue padding.
