Description
The consumable that's never there when you need it. A fin screw disappears two ways: it drops out in the water if it wasn't tightened, or it stays in the sand when you pull fins before a flight. Either way the board is unrideable because of a part worth small change.
Compatible with FCS 1 and FCS 2, sold in twos. A standard allen key — the one that came with your fins — does the job.
Practical note: keep a spare pair in the board bag, not at home. And don't overtighten: the thread in the box is softer than the screw and strips more easily than you'd think.
Who it isn't for. They won't fit other systems — Futures, or a standard single fin box — which use their own thread and length. And if the thread in the box itself is stripped, a new screw won't help; the box needs repair.
