Description
The EAGLE is F-One's performance downwind foil for what the brand calls ocean surfing: carving and linking bumps like an endless wave. Its aspect ratio of about 9.5 gives effortless glide and early lift, while reduced winglets and refined tips make it more manoeuvrable than traditional downwind foils.
Why now. F-One points to new disciplines — K-Wing and pocket wing — that make downwinding more accessible without a bulky freefly wing or a paddle start, so more riders move towards carving-focused downwind riding.
Sizes. EAGLE 690 (82 cm span, 0.98 kg), 790, 890, 990, 1090, 1190 and 1290 (110.5 cm span, 1.68 kg), aspect ratios 9.4–9.7.
Who it is not for. High-aspect foils are not for beginners; if you're learning, the SEVEN SEAS is far more forgiving. For pure downwind racing and maximum flight time, F-One makes the MOMENTUM.
Safety. Downwinding needs preparation, a leash, a flotation vest and support on the water. Ask us to match the size to your weight and board.
