Description
The pad is named after Slater's dog, and the design decisions came from him directly — each solving a specific irritation.
First: a V chopped into the tail kick so your leash can't catch on it. A mundane, familiar problem — the cord snags the pad edge every other paddle.
Second: the arch is slit. It's as wide as on the 3 and 5 piece Slater Designs pads but lower here. Square grooved edges on either side of the parallel slits give a hooked-in feeling other arch supports won't.
Third: five pieces let you change the pad's length — space the side pieces wider or tighter to suit your stance.
Made from BLOOM algae foam.
Who it isn't for. Anyone who likes a high arch: this one is deliberately low. And a five-piece layout needs planning before you stick it down.
