Description
A five-piece arch pad is the configuration for surfers who want the back foot locked in — so you can throw your weight into a turn and come out with speed.
The cutouts do the opposite job: bringing the foot closer to the board and restoring the feel that a thick solid pad absorbs. Hence the combination: the hold of a big pad with the control of a thin one.
Five pieces mean the spacing adapts to your stance rather than the other way round.
Made from BLOOM algae foam.
Who it isn't for. Midlengths and longboards, where the foot shuffles, are better served by the longer Weekend. And on a wide fish tail the standard width may not reach the rails.
