The 2025 Boss Up in I-Bolic Core — an I-beam core construction that holds stiffness along the length while staying responsive.
Two numbers matter here, and the maker states both. First: ride roughly 13 litres more volume than your standard shortboard. That isn't guesswork — a midlength without float margin loses its whole point, and with too much it goes stiff. Second: the recommended setup is the KS1 5-fin template configured as a quad. A quad on a midlength gives drive and hold through the arc, where a thruster would make it heavier to turn.
