The Manncave isn't specialised, it's deliberately balanced: a broadly raked outline with a noticeably more pivot-oriented lean.

The most convincing thing about it is this: the Manncave is the fin Mann himself uses to test every new shape, from grovellers to long guns. It's the constant in his R&D — the variable he keeps fixed so he sees the difference between boards rather than between fins. Which means the template doesn't colour the board's character.

Mann's requirement of a fin is simple: it has to make sense for both drive down the line and pocket manoeuvres, and the foil has to be perfect — front to back and base to tip.

Construction is a traditional fibreglass layup with a familiar, predictable flex pattern.

Who it isn't for. If you specifically want sharp pivot or specifically a long drawn-out arc, the specialised templates (KS1 or KSR) do it better. A neutral template wins at neither extreme.
