A dry bag in backpack form, closed by a roll top rather than a zip. A zip is the weak point of any waterproofing: it wears, clogs with sand and leaks. A roll top has no mechanism at all, so the seal doesn't degrade over time.

The main use is a wet wetsuit, a towel and everything else off the beach that shouldn't end up in the car. It works the other way too: dry things inside while it rains outside.

Who it isn't for. Waterproof fabric doesn't breathe — don't leave wet neoprene in it or the suit will sour. There's no padding for a laptop. And the roll eats volume: the quoted litres assume the top is fully unrolled.
