Description
A sock for a shortboard in double-constructed breathable mesh. Breathability isn't about comfort here: a board put away damp in a sealed bag goes mouldy and starts to smell, and in the tropics that takes a couple of days. Mesh lets the moisture out.
The nose is reinforced with PET nylon — that's the end that meets everything while you carry the board, and without reinforcement a sock wears through there first.
The sock's job is dings and scratches in transport and storage, nothing more.
Who it isn't for. There's no impact protection at all: you can't fly with it. Mesh won't stop sun either — it breathes, it doesn't reflect. And take the fins out.
