Description
A leash is the only thing connecting you to the board after a wipeout, and 7 mm is the standard working thickness: strength margin without excess drag.
The cuff uses recycled PET webbing at seatbelt grade. That isn't sustainability for its own sake: the cuff wears out first, and webbing survives abrasion against neoprene and sand far better than ordinary textile.
Choose length by board: a leash roughly matches its length or runs slightly longer. Too short and the board snaps back at your head; too long and it gets a run-up before it reaches you.
Who it isn't for. Big waves need more than 7 mm, and ideally a release system. Reef breaks call for a quick-release model. And length isn't guesswork — it's a safety question, not a comfort one.
