Description
The Session is a wave and strapless kite. The defining trait is drift: the kite's ability to sit in the window and not fall while you ride the wave and the lines go slack. Without drift wave riding is impossible — the kite folds exactly when you let the bar go.
The distinguishing feature is the interchangeable bridle. Fixed gives more direct steering: the bar answers instantly, which is what waves demand. Pulley increases depower and wind range, which matters more for freeride and shifting wind. One kite tunes for two scenarios instead of being bought twice.
It also boosts easily, though it isn't a big air machine.
Who it isn't for. Competition unhooked freestyle wants the Razor. Maximum airtime wants the Lift or the Union. And a beginner gains nothing from swappable bridles until they can feel the difference.
