Description
The Livewire Air exists for one thing: jumping high. Hence the high-speed rocker — the board doesn't scrub speed before take-off, it carries it to the last moment.
The channel bottom gives grip at speed. That's fundamental to big air: to go high you have to load the edge at maximum speed, and the board must not let go. The same channels work on landing, when the speed is still up.
The construction is basalt, which the maker calls bombproof. For a board that lands from height, toughness matters more than a few grams.
Who it isn't for. Too stiff and too demanding for relaxed freeriding. Wrong for beginners: a high-speed rocker forgives less than a medium one. And park riding wants different geometry.
