Description
The Foil Skate V3 addresses the move to foil: normal foil boards are tall and voluminous, and a twin-tip rider feels unsteady on them. This is twin-tip construction in a foil board shape — it sits closer to the water and the start feels familiar.
The core is stiff wood. The foil inserts feed in loads a twin-tip never sees, and a soft core gives up there first.
With the fins in, it also rides as a normal directional without a foil.
Who it isn't for. Racing and high-speed foiling want a purpose-built board. If you've never ridden a twin-tip, the shape advantage doesn't apply. And no foil is included.
