Description
The Apex is Airush's all-round twin-tip for freeride and big air. The geometry is shared across the range: double concave with a pronounced centre spine. The concave softens landings, the spine holds an edge on flat water — so the board both forgives a hard touchdown and doesn't let go when you load the edge before a jump.
A medium rocker: the board planes early and goes even in light wind.
The maker points the V7 at riders of any level — those learning their first freeride tricks and those jumping high. It builds speed for a jump easily and takes the landing softly, which spares your knees.
Who it isn't for. Pure park and cable wakestyle wants a different board — stiffer and with another rocker. And size by rider weight and wind: the wrong size either won't plane or won't let you go fast.
