How to order a custom kite

Choose the model and sizes

We settle on the model (Thrive, Peak, Force, Generator) and the sizes you need.

Option and design

You pick Option 1 (100%) or Option 2 (40%), then prepare the artwork yourself or with Harlem's designers.

Artwork approval

We sign off the final design. One artwork can be applied across every size of the same model.

Production and shipping

Once approved, the kite is built to order and shipped directly — with a matching custom bag included.

Lead time: roughly 6–8 weeks after the artwork is approved

Design: design work is not included in the custom price; you can build the artwork yourself from Harlem's templates or pay for help from their designers. One design applies to every size.

The brand

Born on the water, not in a boardroom

From a kite repair workshop

Harlem began with an idea shared by two friends, Alex and Hans. Running their own kite repair workshop, they kept seeing the same problems again and again: gear broke too easily, cost too much and was replaced too often.

2016 — Harlem launches

In 2016 Harlem Kitesurfing was founded with a clear mission: build gear that genuinely works, lasts a long time and doesn't cost the earth.

Yes. We ship Harlem worldwide — Europe, the USA, Asia and Russia — and you can also collect your order at our station in Mui Ne, Vietnam. Cost and lead time are confirmed before you pay.
