The all-round kite is the one people buy most, and in this category two brands give fundamentally different answers.

Duotone offers three: Evo, Evo SLS, Evo D/LAB. And the price spread here is nearly twofold — 1 399 € to 2 549 €.

Notably, the three Evo versions carry different stated purposes: the base is "freeride and progression after lessons", the SLS "freeride and wave riding", the D/LAB "freeride and high jumps".

That is an important detail. F-One's TEC and BRAINCHILD are one kite in two weights. Duotone's three Evos are positioned for different jobs, so choosing within the model is not only about money.

Difference two: what each publishes

Here the gap is fundamental, and it changes how you buy.

F-One gives a table: the weight of each size to ten grams, a wind range per size, and a recommended bar length.

From the Bandit TEC: the 10 m weighs 2.90 kg and works in 12 to 26 knots; the 14 m weighs 3.70 kg and works in 8 to 18.

Duotone provides no such tables in our catalogue — there is a stated purpose and a season.

What that means practically. With F-One you can assemble a quiver by calculation: read the range overlaps and pick a pair without gaps. With Duotone you rely on general guidance and experience.

Both are all-rounders, and both honestly remain so.
