Nobile EZ Bar Control bar

The EZ Bar is Nobile's current bar, in three widths: 36, 46 and 52 cm.

Choosing a width. The bar is the lever you steer the kite with. A narrow one (36 cm) needs less effort per turn and suits small kites and foiling, where inputs are short. A wide one (52 cm) gives more leverage and precision on big kites but feels sluggish on a small one. Forty-six is the all-round middle.

The rule is simple: match the width to your kite size, not to your height.

Who it isn't for. Running one brand's bar with another brand's kite is always a compromise — line lengths and depower travel are tuned to the maker's own canopies. Check which kite you'll fly it with before buying.
