Ozone Torque V4 Kiteboard

The Torque is the twin-tip for riders who want to send it — big air, powered freeride and freestyle — while staying in control. For V4, Ozone kept the series' trademark grip and worked on making the ride smoother in rough conditions.

More rocker, same speed. The V4 has increased rocker, which smooths the ride in strong wind and chop without costing speed or upwind ability. Ozone compares it to upgrading to a bike with bigger suspension: the board rides higher and faster, and the extra comfort lets you push harder into take-offs.

Edge hold for loading up. A redesigned quad-concave hull gives very precise edging, so you can load the line aggressively before a jump and stay stable. Narrower tips eliminate water spray however choppy it gets, which means clearer vision and the confidence to carry more speed.

The build is an A-grade Paulownia core with biaxial fibreglass and UD carbon, bio-based epoxy (35% plant-derived), a flexible polymer resin rail and 316 stainless steel inserts in ABS blocks for powered riding and boots. It comes with Ozone's V2 footpads and straps. Ozone rates the Torque V4 for intermediate to expert riders.

Who it is not for. This is not a beginner board: the stiffer, more powerful feel rewards riders who already edge confidently. If you are still learning, take the Element. If you want a looser, more playful all-rounder rather than a big-air tool, the Code V5 is the better match. For light wind, the Infinity V4.
