Description
The Scunno is a short, close-fitting under-layer. The point is the same as the whole category: skin needs a smooth, stretchy layer against wet neoprene, or a few hours in the water ends in chafing and the next session gets cancelled for reasons other than the forecast.
The second job is changing. In a Scunno you can peel a wetsuit off in the car park and walk to the shower without ending up with nothing on.
The fabric stretches both ways and dries fast — by the time you've changed it isn't soaked through.
Who it isn't for. Not swimwear — the Scunno isn't meant as beach clothing on its own. No warmth: cold water calls for neoprene, not thin elastane. And no sun protection — back and shoulders are bare, which is what a UPF rash vest is for.
