Description
These go under boardshorts or a wetsuit so skin doesn't get rubbed raw. The problem is mundane and extremely common: hours in the water, wet fabric and salt, and by evening the inner thigh stings enough that tomorrow loses its appeal.
What works is a smooth, stretchy layer between skin and coarse fabric. The seam is the main culprit in chafing, so a base layer keeps it out of the rubbing zone.
Who it isn't for. Not intended as swim shorts. They add no warmth. And an extra layer under a tight wetsuit can make it too tight.
