Description
A dense cotton velour towel at 315 gsm against 230 for the polyester ones. You feel the difference immediately: velour is softer, absorbs better and is noticeably warmer after cold water.
150 x 80 cm is a proper lie-down size, and the hanging loop lets it go on a hook rather than into a heap.
This is the towel for people who care about how it feels and how warm it is, not about how fast it dries.
Who it isn't for. On a trip it's heavier and slower to dry than synthetic — for a backpack take the polyester. Sand embeds in cotton pile and shakes out less willingly. And it probably won't be dry in time for a second session the same day.
