Ocean & Earth COR_X Fish Binding

A three-piece pad for fish and hybrid boards — the ones with wide tails. It's 15 mm wider than the standard COR_X, which is exactly the margin that stops a normal pad leaving bare strips along the rails, right where your foot lands at the worst moment.

The manufacturer's numbers: 305 mm long, 315 mm wide, 7 mm arch, 25 mm power kick. A 7 mm arch is moderate — your foot finds the centre blind without tiring over a long session. The 25 mm kick is the middle ground too: enough to brace the back foot through a turn, not so much that moving forward becomes awkward.

The tread is a square diamond — the classic grid that holds a wet foot and a bootie alike.

Who it isn't for. Too wide for a narrow shortboard tail, where the standard COR_X belongs. Riders who want an aggressive high-kick stance will find 25 mm soft. And if a pad is already on there, removing it cleanly from an epoxy deck is its own job — do it in warm weather.
