The Scunno is a short, close-fitting under-layer in nylon and elastane. The point is the same across this category: there needs to be a smooth, stretchy layer between skin and wet neoprene, or a few hours in the water ends in chafing and the next session gets cancelled for reasons other than the forecast.

The second job is changing. In a Scunno a kid can peel a wetsuit off in the car park without ending up with nothing on, and walk to the shower in it.

The fabric stretches both ways and dries fast — by the time they've changed, it isn't soaked through.

Who it isn't for. Not swimwear. No warmth — cold water calls for a fleece thermo layer. And no sun protection: back and shoulders stay bare, which is what a UPF rash vest is for.
