Description

A hooded rashguard is the answer for the tropics and for long sessions. It covers what burns first and hurts longest: the neck, the ears and the back of the head. The hood carries a flexible 5 mm visor. It holds its shape but won't break or get in the way when you're lying on the board looking forward — a rigid peak in that position would simply jam against the deck. The hood adjusts with a drawcord: cinch it down in the water, loosen it on the beach. Ultra-soft lycra, men's long sleeve fit. A loop at the front for a boardshort tie string, elastic band at the waist. In Mui Ne the dry-season sun is brutal from nine in the morning. We ride in these ourselves — sunscreen lasts half a session, fabric lasts all day.
