Description

A rashguard is the first thing worth buying after a board and fins. It handles two problems at once: sun and friction. In bodyboarding your back is under the sun for hours on end — you're lying face-down. Without a rashguard, burning is a certainty, and sunscreen washes off in twenty minutes. The second job is in the name. Chest and ribs rub against the deck with every stroke, and without a layer of fabric the skin is raw by the third day of a trip. The material is lycra: it stretches in every direction and doesn't interfere with paddling. Men's fit, long sleeve. A loop at the front takes a boardshort tie string so it can't ride up.
