A cold-water suit: 4 mm through the torso, 3 mm on the arms and legs. The usual distribution logic — insulate the core, let the limbs move. Superior Stretch neoprene, and at this thickness elasticity becomes the critical property. A poor 4/3 turns paddling into a fight; a good one all but disappears. Seams are glued and blind-stitched, and entry is through the chest. There's deliberately no back zip: it presses in when you're lying face-down on a board, and over a long session that becomes unbearable. For bodyboarding this suit belongs where the water sits around 10–16 °C: autumn in Europe, spring in the Mediterranean, winter in Japan. Size by height and chest. A wetsuit should be snug without restricting your breathing.
