Description
A Two Plus One setup is a centre fin plus two side bites. The sides don't replace the centre fin, they add edge hold: the board stops sliding sideways through a turn and starts drawing an arc.
The Firewire 4" template is deliberately versatile in fit — designed to suit various longboards in the range, including shapes by Dan Mann and Stu Kenson.
Who it isn't for. There's nowhere to fit them on a pure single fin — you need side boxes. And don't expect shortboard snap: on a longboard the centre fin sets the character and the sides only support it.
