Description
A set of 22 m flying lines with 2 m extensions. Twenty-two metres is the freeride standard; the extensions take you to 24 and change how the kite behaves — it flies higher in the window and pulls more softly, but answers more slowly.
SK76 is ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. The higher the number, the less the line stretches under load. That matters more than it sounds: lines that have stretched unevenly pull the kite off to one side, and you spend the whole session correcting on the bar without knowing why.
Lines are a consumable with a service life. You replace them not when they break but when the set no longer balances: a couple of centimetres of difference between front lines is already noticeable.
Who it isn't for. Choose length for your bar and kite, not for whatever was on there. And never knot a broken line — a knot cuts into it and halves the strength.
