The bar is the only control you have over a kite and the only safety system on it. Everything else can be chosen on taste; a bar is chosen by how fast and how reliably it dumps power when you need it gone.

The entry bar in the range: simple, legible, with the least to get wrong. The one schools use and the one people buy first.

The bar matches Airush kites of the corresponding generation. You can run another brand of bar, but then the line length, release layout and trim setup are yours to reconcile — and those are exactly the things that matter when something goes wrong.

Who it isn't for. Don't shop for a bar on price alone, separately from the kite: line length and setup have to match the model. And test any bar, new or used, on land before the first session: the release has to work in one movement, blind.
