Description
The Lithium is Airush's core freeride kite and, in the maker's words, the all-round kite. The shape is a three-strut delta hybrid: a platform that gives a wide wind range and water relaunch without a fight.
The Team version differs in construction, not in shape. The leading edge is reduced in diameter — less drag, a faster and more responsive kite. That edge is built from Ho'okipa Ultra PE cloth for high pressure and reinforced with the Load Frame: a thin edge without reinforcement would simply fold.
The result is a kite lighter, faster and more precise than the standard Lithium. The maker aims it at foiling, performance freeride and surf — the disciplines where kite weight in the air is felt most.
Who it isn't for. Beginners: a lightweight build costs more and asks for more care while forgiving no more than the standard. Same reason it's wrong for school and rental fleets. For unhooked freestyle, take the Razor.
