Description
A bag for boards up to 12'6" × 27". The numbers in the name aren't the bag's dimensions but the largest board it takes: length first, then width. Don't size up — a board rattling inside a loose bag gets dinged on exactly the rails the bag was bought to protect.
Vertical is the long-board bag: race and touring hulls that fit neither the length nor the narrow width of an ordinary surf bag.
Who it isn't for. Check both numbers against your board: it can fit on length and fail on width, or the reverse. For flying you want thick padding; a light day bag won't survive a hold.
