Description
More boards get broken travelling on a car than in the water. Two causes: the board isn't cinched down and slides on the roof, and it sits on bare metal. Pads and straps deal with both.
Roll bar pads slip over the bars and spread the load: without them the rails press into metal, and after a season you can see the dents where the straps ran.
Who it isn't for. Size them to your bar section — a loose pad slides and does nothing. And pads don't replace straps: they protect, they don't hold.
