Description
A coiled bicep cord — mounting above the elbow keeps it clear of your arm stroke, which is how a bodyboarder actually paddles.
A bodyboard leash goes on your arm rather than your leg for an obvious reason: your legs are busy with fins. Hence the choice between wrist and bicep — the wrist is easier to put on, the bicep stays further out of your stroke.
Who it isn't for. Not suitable for a surfboard, which loads differently and mounts differently. And in heavy shorebreak a coil springs the board back harder than a straight cord.
