Description
The relaxed take on a rash vest: cut like a t-shirt rather than compression. That's a deliberate choice, not a simplification — sitting in a cafe after a session in a skin-tight rash vest is unpleasant, and you can wear this all day.
Quick-dry nylon and elastane: you come out of the water soaked and you're dry twenty minutes later. Flat locked seams matter on a long sleeve, because the seam runs down the inside of the arm, exactly where the body rubs the board while paddling.
Long sleeves cover the forearms — under the sun the whole time you're on a board and the last place sunscreen reaches.
Who it isn't for. A relaxed cut fits worse under a wetsuit than a compression one. No warmth: cool water calls for a fleece thermo. And in real heat a long sleeve is harder work than a short one.
