Description
The One built its reputation on independent tests rather than advertising: the first version's light-wind ability was confirmed by multiple tests and by riders worldwide. V.2 is the second edition, and it changes one thing that matters — a stiffened leading edge for rigidity in stronger conditions. A single-strut kite loses its shape first at the top of its range, and that's what was addressed.
One strut instead of three or five means less weight and less drag. Hence the brief: light wind, foil, waves. Upwind drive and depower combined with quick turning make it a natural foil kite, where power has to be given and taken back fast.
Setup. A four-line bar. One-pump inflation through a high-volume valve. Recommended pressure 7.5–8.5 psi. Front and back bridle trimming, with pulleys on the bridles for smoother travel and less wear. Relaunch is claimed easy at any size.
Who it isn't for. Wrong choice for jumping and big air — that needs a stiffer construction and a different profile. In Mui Ne during the season, when the wind sits above 20 knots, this model will mostly stay in the bag; its time is the shoulder season and early mornings.
