Description

In bodyboarding the fins are the engine, not an accessory. They decide whether you catch the wave or watch it go. Air Hubb is the flagship Hubboards fin, moulded in 100 % natural Malaysian rubber. Rubber over plastic matters. It's softer in the foot pocket and doesn't chew your feet, yet more elastic — the blade snaps back faster and pushes harder. Cheap plastic fins stiffen in cold water and shred your heels within an hour. These fins float. A fin ripped off in shorebreak comes back to the surface rather than heading for the bottom, which over a season is not a small thing. The blade is stiff: short, powerful kicks, which is what a take-off actually needs. The sole carries a traction pattern, so you can walk over rock and reef without going over. Two drain holes clear water and sand from the pocket. Colourway: aqua blue and yellow.
