Description
The Droid is GONG's freestyle wing: maximum compactness, sharp acceleration and on/off power delivery. Clément took a Surf-Freestyle world title on it. The concave profile loads up and releases into the pop, and the compact outline lets you spin without catching a tip.
This is the dacron version — the most forgiving in the range. Dacron is softer than aramid, shrugs off water impacts and foil contact, and costs noticeably less. A sensible first wing, or a knockabout second set.
Best matched to a compact, light board and a performance foil around an 85 cm mast.
