Description
The Droid is GONG's freestyle wing: compact, explosive, on/off power.
The Light build is around 25% lighter than the Aramid version, and you feel it on the first transition. The 55 g canopy cloth sits right on the line: light enough to kill inertia, strong enough to keep real structural integrity under load.
Weight comes off the extremities first, so the wing swings faster, repositions more easily after a trick, and keeps the compact, reactive feel that defines a Droid in the air.
This is a lightweight wing built for riding, not a fragile showpiece — but it does ask for more care than dacron.
