Description
The Droid is GONG's freestyle wing: compact, explosive, on/off power.
The Boom version replaces soft handles with a rigid boom. If you ride a lot, the difference is real: your hand goes anywhere along the bar rather than into three fixed positions, so you can shift grip mid-run and unload your forearm. It also helps rotations — you don't have to find a handle blind.
The honest trade-off: a boom adds weight and pack volume. Worth weighing if you fly with your gear monthly.
