The Hyper Trail V3 is GONG's tail wing for riders chasing glide and speed without the usual penalty — losing low-end power and forgiveness.
The number that matters is an aspect ratio of 13.0. High aspect sharply reduces induced drag, so more energy is retained between pumps: the foil carries longer and costs less effort to bring back up.
Tapered tips cut the vortex at the ends. On the water that reads as freedom rail to rail — the stab doesn't hold the board through a turn.
Built in monolithic CNC-machined T700 carbon, which isn't marketing here: it holds its profile and tips under load rather than only on the shelf.
Despite the numbers it stays forgiving — it doesn't need constant full speed to work. Hence its home ground: downwind, light wind, and building real glide into your pumping.
