Description
HIPE is GONG's inflatable board range for wing foiling and SUP foiling. An inflatable solves two problems a rigid board can't: it fits in airline luggage, and it shrugs off hitting a reef or a boat. The old price for that was flex — but Woven Dropstitch construction with a composite plate has closed most of that gap.
A pack built around the HIPE Like, the board that gets up early in light and gusty wind with far less pumping.
One caveat worth stating: the Like is narrower than most learner boards and asks for solid balance. It works as a first kit if you come from surfing, wakeboarding or SUP; from a standing start, the HIPE First pack is the better call.
Its element is flat water — lake, lagoon, sheltered bay.
