Description
The Unik is GONG's lightweight single-strut kite for light wind, foiling and waves.
One strut instead of three or five means less weight, and a light kite stays airborne where a heavy one falls — which decides the day when the wind is marginal. Compact packing is a bonus if you travel with your gear.
The trade-off is honest: without struts the canopy is softer and loses shape earlier at the top end. The Unik is a light-wind specialist, not an all-rounder, and shouldn't be your only kite.
It shines on a foil, where you don't need power — you need the kite to simply fly and stay up.
