Description
HIPE is GONG's inflatable board range for wing foiling and SUP foiling. An inflatable solves two problems a rigid board can't: it fits in airline luggage, and it shrugs off hitting a reef or a boat. The old price for that was flex — but Woven Dropstitch construction with a composite plate has closed most of that gap.
The HIPE Perf delivers around 95% of rigid-board performance in an easy, scalable shape — GONG's best seller across the whole board range.
This is the compact 5'10: for riders of moderate weight who already get up reliably and want something more responsive underfoot without moving to a rigid board.
