Description
The X-Over V2 XL is a complete foil setup on an 85 cm aluminium mast: front wing, stabiliser, fuselage and mast already matched to each other.
The logic is the same as with a complete pack: foil parts are computed as a set. A foil assembled from good individual components can easily fly worse than an average but coherent one.
Aluminium instead of carbon is a deliberate trade: heavier and softer, but much cheaper and far more relaxed about hitting the bottom. While you're building hours, that's an advantage.
85 cm is the versatile length — enough height to clear chop, not so much that shallow water becomes a problem.
