Description
The Alu V2 fuselage extension changes how a foil behaves far more than a piece of aluminium has any right to.
The distance between front wing and stabiliser is the lever arm of pitch stability. A longer fuselage makes the foil calmer in pitch: it won't nose-dive or balloon, it forgives clumsy foot pressure and holds altitude better. A shorter one is livelier in turns and rotations.
Hence the practical use: fit the extension when you move to a bigger front wing, go downwind, or work on pumping. Take it off when you move to tricks.
Fits the V2 aluminium fuselage; V3 needs its own generation.
