Description
The ROCKET FREE DOWNWIND is built for the new freefly and downwind disciplines — pocket winging and K-Winging — where the wing or paddle is only used to take off, then stashed or flagged so you can ride the swell alone.
Why it is long. Take-offs in these disciplines are harder than in wing foiling, so the board needs more length for glide and acceleration, and enough volume to start planing quickly and stably. It builds on the MIDLENGTH's fundamentals.
Sizes. 6'4 (193x48.3 cm, 85 L, 5.4 kg), 6'8 (95 L, 5.8 kg), 7'0 (104 L, 6.1 kg), 7'4 (114 L, 6.3 kg), 7'8 (124 L, 6.5 kg). All with a handle.
Who it is not for. It is a specialist for experienced foilers. For everyday wing foiling or learning, the ROCKET WING or MIDLENGTH are easier.
Pairing. Downwind boards work with downwind foils such as F-One's EAGLE; ask us to match them.
